Yet again, proof that indeed fact is stranger than fiction. We end the year with the French steeling themselves against an influx of people being smuggled OUT of the UK in the back of lorries.

A trucker was found guilty of doing this recently. Why would asylum seekers want to be smuggled out of the country? Well they were failed asylum seekers facing deportation the plan was for them to re-enter under a different name and start the whole asylum process again.

I have a feeling that the government are using the new variant as an excuse due to lack of compliance in the SE to increase restrictions. The EU have found an excuse to practice for a no-deal or demonstrate what it would be like. Speaking to someone else this morning, the lodgistics industry have been preparing for no-deal disruption for months, filling every inch of space they can in warehouses of non-perishable goods. He think's they are good for 6 weeks.

Schapps is 'disappointed' by France and others response. Don't they want our new high-tech mutation, it kills more quickly doesn't it? We are open for business yet they shun us. So what if lots of foreigners were to catch it, this is brexit for God's sake.
