russell brand is a hypercritical fool and the people who listen to him are even worse. He has no idea what he is talking about and seems to think that revolution can be achieved by love and wishful thinking. Come the day, he's going first up against the wall.

And you and a few others, who seem to be more interested in him, than a lot of people on the left actually are.

Indeed, revolution is almost never peaceful, sooner or later you have to accept that people in power and in privillage won't give up without a fight, that's why terrorism and guerilla warfare remain popular.

Depends on your perspective, usually the oppression is what fuels the revolutionary violence, usually post failed revolution, Junta's usually try to redress their 'problems' by buying off a few of the more acceptable alternatives, whilst murdering their way through the rest of the disidents.

A junta is a military-led Government. Coup d'état is the name of the game for them to gain power not usually revolution.

Twitter seems to be leaning toward bell end, after he put a reporter's contact details on there.
