This is terrible. I thought as she was so keen on bringing refugees here she would have offered her home to them rent free. Instead she rents her place to the political elite. Doesn't that make her a money grabbing landlord. Tut tut.

It was cited in the Guardian and Independent, but it does seem to be relatively born out that the Burkha is actually pretty uncommon in the UK. On reflection I suspect it to be a bit higher than 1% - Recently Channel 4 News did something on this. I suspect that most people tend to conflagrate different styles of Muslim women's dress as being the same thing.

The intent behind all of them comes down to the same religious instruction however....that women should dress modestly. It is not a positive to be encouraged within society. Lily also tweeted and then deleted that "private equity managers, tax experts and hedge funders been looking" at her tenant situation. It was revealed last year that Lils was selling her £4.2 million Cotwolds mansion after she was hit by a hefty tax bill. Does that mean she was trying to swerve it?
