So many people here who think they're better at running a PL football club than Parish is.

No I don't think I can run a PL club better than Steve Parish. It's his club and he can do with it what he wishes. What I'm commenting on is his process of sluggishness, there is diligence and then there is being lethargic and listless to the point of indecision. After he had to fire Pardew because they were such good mates he's second and third guesses every F***ING decision and that does NO ONE any good.

Parish has got to make a decision and, once he's done that, he needs to accept that finance and PR are his bag, but he needs a DoF to handle the footballing side.

I totally agree he's bottling right now.

I would be happy with either Mauricio Pellegrino or Frank de Boer.

I think many would, but Southampton just chucked the biggest fly you've ever seen into the ointment.

We tried that DoF lark before with that bloke from Cardiff. To my recollection he did jack sh*t apart from trying to get his mate Malky Mckay a job and that went well. I cannot think of one player he signed, I maybe wrong.
What we need is a manager and a decent scouting network. What does a manager really do, he has an assistant to coach and train the team. All I can see they do is sort out tactics, organise the team formation, be a father figure to spoilt over paid players and a few press interviews. They have plenty of time to find a few players, so we don't need a DoF.

My £50.00 on Warnock 4 weeks ago is looking much better by the day!

I know he'd have to ask Sharon and I assume his buyout clause at Cardiff can't cost that much!

Sounds like a done deal to me compared with everyone else on the want / select / prioritise / phone / visit / short / long / wish / interview / LIST at the moment who after being mentioned and connected to Palace then gets hired by someone else!!

He oversaw our greatest transfer window that included dann, Ledley,Hennessy and tom ince. Only bettered by Sam January window in my opinion. The best if you looked at the actual outlay.

Looking at next Southampton manager odds. They have Patrick vieira is he the type of manager, we should consider or is it too much of a risk.

WTF You really think he has been sluggish? Did you want him to appoint the first available name and not consider anyone else/ Don't forget managers have been on holiday, as have agents I suspect. I know many posters on here can't grasp that nor can they appreciate SP is entitled to time off as well. Surely your ridiculous comments about 2/3rd guessing contradicts you claiming this decision is taking too long. FFS leave SP alone and let him get on with it, none of us know what goes on behind the scenes, most posters rely on media speculation, which as can be seen by the Daily Mail's recent article are more often than not b******s
