These situations always remind me of the Tim Cahill debacle. Everything all lined up then at the last min, issues and the player goes elsewhere, and turns out to be a real success in the Premier League. Instead of Evertonthis time, watch out for West Ham. If they offload Anderson as it's rumoured, they will be straight in for him.

I hear the sticking point is the club insisting he use his first name rather than surname on shirts. There is just not enough money to be made with three letters and this adversely effects our income stream.

No other clubs are in for Eze at the moment. Right now it's a case of Palace think QPR need to sell so are sticking to their price. QPR are hoping someone will come in and force a bidding war but it's not happening. the rumours of clubs like West Ham after him aren't true, they are merely leaked stories to try and get more bids or make Palace nervous. How do you know this? West Ham need to sell, but they do have Hugill as there bargaining tool. This seems to be following the same pattern as Jarred Bowen. It working too, judging by how much fans believe them and read their bs. If you want more views on your site you link a player to as many clubs as possible. “[Jarrod] Bowen was not a player we had discussed in those terms to buy," Roy Hodson said. We were only looking for a loan deal, at the time, whilst this time around we seem to be more serious.
I am not a bot. No, seriously, I'm not. |

It's football realpolitik - QPR needs to get a replacement for Eze in before they can let him go, hopefully to Palace
