On a side note my mum was thinking of setting up a wormery years ago , being a keen angler. She never did but would be worth a fortune by now I reckon. Over 3 million anglers fish every week apparently. Now that is a big market. With the governor of the bank of england predicting we are set to be the worst performing economy in the developed world- that could rise to 30 million a week - hungry people love a bit of fish!

I won’t be interacting with it any more because it’s cowardly and childish. You can't even be honest about your 'meet you outside' style stuff. You've called me plenty of things, and just don't like home truths about your distortions, and propensity to be taken in by obvious propoganda to be highlighted. That's my gripe and the way you universally dismiss the mistreatment of Ukrananian people and deny the crimes against them (while posting nazi compilations as if this tells us all we need to know). There are sins on all side in war, but it's stunning that someone would not attribute any blame to Russia's ongoing conduct, and deny war crimes and civilian attacks they can see with their eyes, all while constantly demonising the 'malignant', 'provocative' West and Ukranine. In lockstep with the Kremlin in every instance. That you are more concerned with how you perceive 'you' are talked to on the Internet (as you pepper others with insults), than the fate of civilians bombed to pieces - and the nonplussed way you talk about them - just about sums it up.

Ukrainian troops getting weapons training in UK - [Link] "Britain has been training hundreds of Ukrainian troops, with new weapons being provided by the UK for their fight with Russia. The training has been taking place over the past few weeks in south-west England's Wiltshire county. The Ukrainians have been learning how to use the British Army's Multiple Rocket Launcher System (MLRS) which has a range of more than 80km (50 miles). Britain is believed to be providing Ukraine with three of these advanced long-range systems. The UK has also purchased around 50 howitzers for Ukraine, another long-range weapon. The L119 light gun howitzer can fire up to 12km (eight miles) away. What weapons are being given to Ukraine by the UK? British and New Zealand soldiers who have been overseeing the training say they have been impressed by the Ukrainian troops' eagerness to learn. "Their motivation to be quick to learn is incredible... they don't take many breaks," Warrant Officer Rebecca Bullock, a master gunner with the Royal Artillery, said. They know their window of learning is reasonably short, she says, so they are motivated to get as much knowledge as possible - "they just work, work and work and ask a lot of questions". "How can they be quicker, how can they move faster, how can they come into action? It is all about the speed." Along with New Zealand's Captain Jonathan Dick she has been training the bulk of the troops in the use of the L119 gun. "We definitely see a high degree of motivation and dedication to the defence of Ukraine with these guys," Capt Dick said. Ukraine has been vastly outgunned and outnumbered by Russia's artillery and has been pleading for more heavy weapons from the West. That supply has now started to arrive, though still not in the quantities that Ukraine wanted - and the training is taking time."

Few outside Russia will be convinced by Snake Island 'goodwill gesture' "We’ve grown accustomed to this: Russia putting out a version of events that is wildly different from that presented by Ukraine or by Western governments. Moscow wants us to believe that there was no Russian retreat from Snake Island. The statement issued by the Russian Defence Ministry claims that Russian troops there had simply completed “assigned tasks” and left. It also called the departure “a goodwill gesture”, to show that Russia wasn’t hampering food exports from Ukraine. Considering the strategic importance of Snake Island, which has been fought over for months, and considering, too, the lack of "goodwill gestures" by the Russian armed forces in Ukraine since the invasion, this version of events will convince few outside Russia. Then again, this may be directed more at a domestic audience. The Kremlin wants the Russian public to believe two things - that in this conflict the Russians are the good guys and that Kremlin’s so-called "Special Military Operation" in Ukraine is going according to plan."

Always amuses me when people who meet their match quickly fall apart because their argument has been so successfully deconstructed they have nothing to fall back other than obfuscation, tangents and here, the classic child’s favourite sulking and avoidance. Laughable It is OK to sometimes admit that not everything you read is true. It’s called having a proper debate

Someone needs to balance out the relentless torrent of drivel (there is occasionally a fleeting glimpse of something interesting in there but it doesn’t happen often)

In truth endogeic and anecic worms are more important for the soil.
