CPFC2010 you guys are legends, good swift decision today, sure you have the support of the vast majority of CPFC fans.
Two questions:
1. Are you looking at an up and coming manager (e.g. Eddie Howe) or an old hand (e.g. Coppell).
2. Given that realistically our best transfer policy is to pick up good youngsters from the lower leagues and sell them at a profit will you be looking for managers with an extensive knowledge of the lower leagues.

Do you have a set time on bringing in a replacement?
Will you consider managers at other clubs? I.E O'Driscoll, Howe, Poyet, Brentford's manager.

Did Burley's dismissal have anything to do with him allegedly being out till 3am getting drunk last night as well? The straw that broke the camel's back so to speak?
Also, have you got anybody lined up for the job or will it take some time to find a new man?

Congratulations CPFC 2010 on making the right decision.
My question: Was the signing of Steffen Iversen sanctioned with the knowledge the next manager wanted him?
PS. Gus Poyet would be the perfect man for the job

Good questions
1. Depends how we played
2. Look there’s no doubt that’s a factor, we needed to strengthen the squad in the summer, we had another opportunity in the loan window, for example we lost today to a loan player from that window, we didn’t get anyone in spite of the fact we new JV was going. Whoever comes in will be expected to know what they need and who would fill that role
3. Yes there is a shortlist

was this decision partly down to the fact you read this site and have noticed that alot of fans wanted Burley out?

Steve, you are a man of great integrity and thank you for coming on once again. You really are an inspiration. Anyway, I simply wanted to ask :
1. Is the Steffen Iversen transfer still going through?
2. When do you hope to appoint a new manager by?
3. Do you hope that we can keep the flowing passing football style?
Life is all about making the tough decisions that won't please everyone but I think this has come at the right time. Thanks for your decisiveness! In the end the stats don't lie.

Will you be looking for a manager until the end of the season (like Paul Hart was employed last year) or will you look to employ a manager who is hopefully going to move the club forwards over a number of seasons?

As others have said thank you for everything that you do for us, we hope you know that although we comment on most things to do with Palace we are behind you and comment and question because that is the nature of football fans.
I love every minute of running this club and genuinely think it’s a privilege to do so
