This post has been merged from a topic called 'Schurrle' by Midlands Eagle I think Borussia evaluates him at 15 million. Cause they paid a lot for him. Would you drop that out of Zaha's asking price to get Schurrle? Your choice of words, that he has been let "free" to negotiate might actually make people think he'll come free. He won't, Dortmund will want money. I disagree with the writer of the article though, he is not average, he'a good player.

If it ends up being that we have to lose Zaha, then getting £55m + Schurrle, and using that £55m to get RLC and Antonio would be the best way to lose him for me. I do really worry about our season without Zaha, although I'm fairly concerned going into the season with our midfield looking as weak as it does too.

If it ends up being that we have to lose Zaha, then getting £55m + Schurrle, and using that £55m to get RLC and Antonio would be the best way to lose him for me. I can see RLC being in the £40m range at a minimum.

26th January 2010 - Enter Administration
2nd May 2010 - D-Day 1 - Survival at Hillsborough
1st June 2010 - D-Day 2 - Survival at Lloyds
7th June 2010 - CPFC2010 exchange contracts.

He had just as many bad matches as good ones for Palace.

How many times did you see him live? He joined a poorly performing team and then got injured. He is total class and would be an upgrade on most of our squad, that's why I would blooooooooody take him.

Personally I think this window will be as underwhelming as past ones....However we do have a new keeper, So if we can keep who we have, maybe get RLC back on loan, and add a replacement for Cabaye, then it would seem to be a good window. Don't forget that our first eleven can and did compete with the best the league had to offer, and a massive positive is Wickham coming back, IF he stays fit that lad will score loads. Bit early to start wetting pants just yet.
