Who cares? All humans came from the same race, colour, place, cell, water. All humans were probably black, and gradually became lighter the further North they moved.

The culture and identity of this country has developed over the last few thousand years and as Stirling has said, as long as people coming here don't have an allegiance to another country (strong, dangerous one I add), or hate this country, as long as it's manageable and sensible, good luck to them.

This is what I don't get - how this is important enough to anyone that it's become some sort of political football.

Representative, I suppose, of just how divided the country is politically at the moment - any opportunity to point score must be jumped on.

A bit naughty - Stirling is slightly right of centre, hardly a nazi by anyone's standards. I hope you were joking, but it reflects badly in that current laughable student / antifa "anyone who disagrees with me is a racist / nazi" way.

On topic - the fact they can work all this out is pretty cool (but I have to ask "why were ancient residents of the cheddar area shoving black people into caves?"
