My wife's parents are divorced so i ended up with 2 mother in laws. One nice, the other a c7nt i nicknamed Lilo Lil. One was welcome, the other, never. The good one is now gone, unfortunately Lilo hasn't. What will annoy me more than anything is that when she does snuff it, i will have to have a day off work for the funeral which will make me hate her even more. Ha. Like that.

I try to be respectful to everyone I meet, until they don’t deserve it. I dropped her off to the airport once and noticed her ‘sleep apnea’ machine in the boot... (for those that don’t know, it’s like a mask helping her breath) - the temptation to leave it there was all too real!!
This was once a quality forum.... |

Jokes aside though mate, your Mrs must know it’s happening, but doesn’t know how to deal with it.

A CPAP machine (that's its real name - Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) doesn't make sure you breathe during sleep, your autonomous breathing reflex does that. If you stop breathing it wakes you up and that's what the problem is with sleep apnoea. You don't suffocate if you don't use the machine; you just don't sleep properly and might drop off spontaneously during the day, which is why you can't drive with untreated sleep apnoea. The machine sends data to the DVLA who use it to certify that you are still safe to drive, so if you deprive her of the machine, her driving licence and insurance will become invalid, but she won't shuffle off this mortal coil unless she continues to drive.

My first mother in law hated me,we would argue all the time...she would shout at me "I hope you die before me I will dance on your grave" and I would shout back.." so do I I'm gonna be buried at sea"... The old ones are the best.
always a Norwood boy, where ever I live. |

All mothers-in law are different. The generous gift of enabling her to watch Palace this coming Easter Saturday could backfire, when she tells you how much she enjoyed her immersion in the Anglo-Saxon Language and demonstrates by singing that she could not hear the Scousers sing, and her doubts about referee quality.
