In the City there definately seems to be a trend for wearing insipid blue suits that do not fit properly with trousers nowhere near reaching your shoes, accompanyed by light brown brogues. I was out with my wife last night when she alerted me to a lady dressed to the nines wearing a beige Louis Vuitton bag.It looked delightful and I suspect cost a great deal of money.

Evidently,the lady in question is far from impecunious, lives in a lavish property,drives an expensive car so I suspect that she purchased a real Louis Vuitton ! My wife was looking admiringly at the bag - told her not to expect one for her birthday but maybe my finances would stretch to a Sainsbury bag for life !
