Only tried two - Heineken Zero's not bad, Budweiser Zero I think tastes more like some kind of apple cider. Oh well...

Guiness Zero is without the best, its a tiny bit sweeter, Heineken is as people have said the best as a lager, i drink Mahou 0.0 which is a malty beer, dont know if you can get it in the UK

There's a time rule in nanny state Ireland. Plus a minimum price. To put it into context your 50p beer is 1.70 a can here. Party poopers. And, yes, it often stops you buying the alcohol free as well. Can't remember the times but something like 10.30 weekdays, 12 Sundays and Bank Holidays. Edited by ASCPFC (14 Jun 2022 11.38am)

Edited by ASCPFC (14 Jun 2022 11.38am) in ireland, AF beer seems to be treated as alcohol , in terms of hours, prices and do not be surprised if the computer flashes the staff to check for age ID. utter madness. Lemonade & a bottle of coke are not treated the same as AF beer. meanwhile, you can walk outside the shop and buy a gram of Coke with wanton abandon.

Rarely see promotions on NA beer too

AF beer is expensive and full of calories. The first one gives you a sugar-buzz, thereafter the feeling gets a bit flat. You are unlikely to do a session watching the Champions League and necking down 3 litres of the stuff. i think AF beer is best seen as a methadone, designed to get you down off the hard stuff. But best also avoided itself. as i said above, Herbal Tea will often hit the spot and keep your muscles ripped.

It’s relatively expensive, I suspect due to economies of scale. I’ve been drinking it for a number of years and rate Erdinger, Heineken and more recently Guinness as outstanding. Thought Peroni zero was good too. Quite a fan of gin zero too. Seedlip, Gordons and Tanqueray are very good but more expensive than gin with alcohol. Tried an alcohol free Prosecco and it was just like a sparkling grape juice - which after all is what it was. Given the lack of duty I suspect this is a very profitable line for the manufacturers.

It's nice that there's such a good variety now across most drinks you might like to try. I know a couple of people through health reasons who can't touch a drop, and they've got into non alcohol drinks too. Its a shame theyre not a bit cheaper than the real deal though.

AF beers tens to cost more as they are more expensive to produce and brewed in smaller quantities. Some really good ranges only there by people like Big Drop or Nirvana. Not just lagers but every style of beer.
