Looking at the RB Leipzig forum their fans seem amazed that their club paid 20m for him. Talk of him having no positional sense and looking lethargic. It all sounds very familiar. Apparently he was criticised by their youth team coach after only a week at the club too! The Norway situation is bizarre too for such an inexperienced player to come out like that. He's not had much time at Leipzig to be fair, but it is starting to suggest that possibly the Turkey adventure was misleading and that perhaps he is as bad as many of us thought, and possibly a bit of a d!ck to boot. Luckily we got our money back for him, before the Germans found out, what we all knew!

Think we paid nearer £12m and probably have received c£8m back so far

The interest in how sorloth gets on post-cpfc comes about because, when he was a Palace player, there was such a debate about whether he was as awful as he looked, or actually a casualty of inappropriate coaching and tactics. Personally I don't think any failing player is bound to be exclusively one of those two things, but following the players fortunes elsewhere is the best way to put thier time at Selhurst in context. Sitting here watching sorloth playing in the champions league for one of the top sides in Germany I have to say that the jury is no closer to returning a verdict.
