Todays second download is the first bootleg or album by this band that I've posted. They are called Vain and they come from San Francisco and were formed in 1986 by lead singer Davy Vain. They originally split in 1991 but reformed in 1993 and are still going today. They have released 6 albums over the years and have a few changes in line up. They started as a glam rock band but with a heavy metal sound.. they can play as well... If you don't know this band - give them a try!... Here is a download link I found for :- Live Z Rock Radio, Dallas Texas 1989 - Vain (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01 Secrets Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 33.4MB (Including Artwork) Enjoy!

Todays first download is a set by Jack White that was recorded at the Spendour In The Grass Festival in Byron Bay, NSW, Australia on the 27th July this year. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM Broadcast on JJJ (Triple J) Radio. There is some slight hiss on the original tape - but it's not noticable when the music is playing. This has a DJ intro with a brief interview with JW - you can delete this if not wanted. It appears that Jack plays with two backing bands - the first 5 songs are with "Los Buzzardos" and the rest of the show is list as being with "The Peacocks" - and he plays probably his most famous song - Seven Nation Army - recorded with his days with The White Stripes. This is a good one - thoroughly recommended.... Here is a download link I found for :- "Splendour in the Grass Festival" Belongil Fields, Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia 27.7.12 - Jack White (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01. DJ Intro and brief chat with Jack White With Los Buzzardos With The Peacocks Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 109MB (Including Artwork and Tracklisting) Enjoy!

Todays second download is a short set by Budgie that was recorded at the Reading Festival in August 1982. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. Shows by Budgie are very rare - I only have a few myself, so when I saw this one I grabbed it immediately. Only a short set of 5 songs - probably not the whole set but what we get is top notch. If you like Budgie - this is a must have.... Here is a download link I found for :- Live at the Reading Festival 27.8.82 - Budgie (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01 Forearm Smash Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 38.7MB (Including Artwork) Enjoy!

The show was recorded on the 6th November this year and is in superb quality. Todays second download is a set by Uli Jon Roth and Electric Sun that was recorded at the Milwaukee Summerfest 1985. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. Electric Sun is the band Uli started after leaving The Scorpions. The band didnt last very long and this is the last concert they ever played - the band split almost immediately after this show!... Uli is a top guitarist and this is a cracking boot... thoroughly recommended... The final two tracks of this boot were recorded on the same day but at BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge studios, London. If you like Biffy Clyro this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by The Refugees that was recorded in Chicago, Illinois on the 22nd September this year. This is the first bootleg or album by this band that I've posted and it's good one in superb quality. I don't really know anything about the band - it's an all girl band that have been likened to Crosby, Still and Nash. If you know this band you will know what to expect - if you don't you're in for a nice surprise. Thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is a set by Black Sabbath that was recorded in Boston, Mass in August 1992. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. This show has the late Ronnie James Dio on vocals instread of Ozzie Osbourne - and he does a good job - but BS without Ozzie just doesn't seem right. Todays first download is a set by blues guitar legend John Mayall and a set he played in Vancouver, Canada on 11.11.09. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. John Mayall is a blues legend and this is a cracking set - which unfortunately isnt the complete show as that ran for over 3 hours. I've only posted a few boots by JM in the past as good quality ones are fairly hard to find. This is a good one and is thoroughly recommended...
