Todays first download is a set by Genesis that was recorded in Frankfurt, Germany in 1981 while the band were touring on the Abacab tour. This bootleg is in superb quality - one of the best Genesis bootlegs I've ever heard - and believe me, I've heard hundreds. This has been remastered and digitally edited to sound perfect or as near to as possible. More importantly the music is fantastic - a really great Genesis set. This show was roughly halfway through the Abacab tour, so all the teething troubles that all tours have at the beginning had been ironed out, and the band deliver a cracking show. See the file notes (which are included in part 2) for all the details. I thoroughly recommend this one - it's the dogs... Todays second download is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted. I don't have anything by them in my files - and I know nothing about them. They are called Lucifer's Friend and this is a show they did for the Rockpalast TV series in Dortmund, Germany in 1978. This band are fantastic - I've played this a whole load of times since I got it a day or so ago... they are a prog band but with a hint of jazz, funk - sometimes they are like Camel at others The Doobie Brothers... crossed with Be Bop Deluxe... and mix it together.... the quality is superb.... a cracking set... take my word for it... this is a must have..... Todays extra download is a set by Iron Maiden that was recorded at the Rock Am Ring Festival in Nurburg, Germany in 2005. This is in superb quality and is a top soundboard recording from the bands "Early Days" tour. I've posted a few boots by IM over the years - this is another top show that is thoroughly recommended....
