have you noticed the slew of diversity questions that are now rigging every episode ? previously it was acceptable if you knew a few basic facts about Emily Pankhurst, Rosa Parks & Nelson Mandela. Today, you are unlikely to win University Challenge except if you have an Antifa Scholar sitting on your team, purple hair, piercings and Climate change LGBTQ hat in tow.

I simply cannot abide the dastardly, woke BBC and I had conniptions the other day when my dear wife uttered that our licence fee had renewed automatically. No, I haven’t noticed anything remotely like that. Nor anyone from Antifa, though their presence would both be welcome and unsurprising as most University students are, by the very need of needing to be to get a place, pretty intelligent.

Things have moved on. Those who fail to move too are destined to be left behind.
