Thomas, why did you dive? you could have been a hero and won the game. Even if you miss, it's better than diving!
Definitely, or at least draw the foul if your looking for the decision, diving shames the team.
Have a dig, you never know.
Thomas was an absolute kn0b today. As if the ref was going to give a 2nd penalty to the visiting team anyway. The way that ball came across was begging to be drilled. Clear the 1st man and there's a good chance it'd go in. Tw&t.
...he should be kicking himself all the way home.
.......has our coach driver done a Poo'yet, without thinking about Gus!

Is Pulis alright again now?
No, negative, beyond belief and 10 years behind the times. Halfway through next season watching this s*** you will be slitting your wrists. On a lighter note, Murray has as many goals as Jerome now...
The tactics Pulis was trying to imply at the start of the game were no different then the ones in the second half. The players weren't up to it first half and Pulis geed them up. The tactics were right first half was bad second half was great WELL DONE PULIS
No they weren't. In the second half we played higher up the field and took the game to them and actually trusted our defenders and keeper to do their job without the help of a negative five man midfield. Against City, Chelsea and Arsenal we gave them trouble but only when we eventually went behind. We have to allow our attackers to attack and trust our defence.

He would dive before he made contact with himself

Against Southampton, Murray, Chamakh (if fit), Bolasie and Ince should all start
Sorry, not Bolasie on that performance, he just loses the ball every-time he gets it.
WHAT! Bolasie tore them apart second half. He did what he's supposed to do, beat his fullback and hit in crosses, some good some bad, like all wingers. If only he could shoot. If like Pulis you want to play him as a secondary fullback then obviously he will be crap.

Except the crosses were... all bad.

Despite the flaws in Bolasie's game (like crossing... my God..) I thought he gave them trouble in the second half and was one of our best players. He also chases the ball and seems to suit a scrappy game. He pins teams back with his running and was creating a lot of space in the middle (he had like 3 Swansea players on him every time he had the ball). He is frustrating, losing possession etc, because you feel he is on the cusp of being an amazing player. If he could cross better and was tidier in possession he'd be a top half prem player. They're big ifs though and I guess that's why he suits a team of our level.

I see your point but before the start of the season most of us had severe concerns about the defence. Delaney and Gabbidon have been fantastic and Dann is a good prem defender. The reason we are still in with a shout is becaue the system we play support these players and they have been fantastic. Had we launch into these teams they would have torn us apart like they have with others.

Funny thing is I didn't and I really should of had concerns. I just felt that the defence was adequate and that it was goals we needed to stay up. Every player used back there this season has done well including Moxey and Marriappa. Pulis doesn't trust them and makes the midfield sit so deep that we leave any forward we have isolated. Ince is a shadow of himself out there at the moment and Bolasie clearly cannot play a defence minded game. I am not advocating that we launch into anyone, just that we give them a game and actually give them something to worry about. By all means let's just have 35% possession, but under 20% is a disgraceful differential between two sides in the same division.
