In the form Hennessey was in today even a penalty might have been no problem. He would've been my first choice to take one too.

Was good today had a bit of swagger about him. As did the whole team really. Even thought of a better song for him today. To the tune of 'let it be' it's simply Hennessy instead of let it be. Edited by Brentmiester_General (02 Apr 2017 12.01am)

A goalkeeper strives on confidence. There has been very little confidence in the team in general for the last year. A player like Sakho will have helped him immensely. As far as I'm concerned we have 3 excellent keepers who are all worthy of a starting place now. Credit also to Martyn Margetson. New goalkeeping coach to replace Pie eating Andy Woodman will have helped WH undoubtedly.

Especially when he came out on to an on rushing Costa. Think he took studs in the chest but showed no fear! High praise he played a blinder. Credit to him, the team and the staff. Palace are back, performances like yesterday won't only help us climb out of danager but they build team spirit which might help keep the team together over what may have been summer of upheaval.

Arguably he more got in the way of some shots than saved them as such and benefited because they were hit at him rather than to one side. He certainly kept us in the game though.
