Slightly unnerving is that Trump boasted about never having consumed alcohol. If he had consumed alcohol, at least that would be some sort of excuse for his behavior. And what astounds me even more, is that the electorate would vote for such a man. Mind you, a lot of people voted for BJ,..... Edited by Forest Hillbilly (02 Oct 2020 8.46am)

Two days after a car crash of a debate, with the regulator likely to mute mikes to stop interruptions in the next thus allowing Biden to speak directly, this could easily be a tactical decision. Seeking to create a "rally around the flag" response this close to an election might have been decided by his campaign as his only remaining chance of success. I know it's only supposition but I wouldn't put it past him/them. It's exactly the kind of deviousness which has come to be expected from him. Which is, of itself, both sad and extremely destructive. What the reaction of the people will be remains to be seen. Whether it creates more sympathy or scorn will be interesting to observe.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

The man who laughs at conspiracy theories suddenly believes in one when it suits him. Predictable behaviour.

If that happens any bets on Wissie admitting he miscalculated the views of the American people? Don’t hold your breath. Edited by Spiderman (02 Oct 2020 9.50am)

Andy yet the MSM are actually saying this will hurt Trump if he is self isolating at the White House. He is not allowed to campaign from there which gives his team a real headache.

What I want most is for the USA to re-enter the climate accord, it ends physically just after the election. There is nothing good about Trump. When you read about California, which seems to have become a permanent disaster zone, how anybody could be in such denial defeats me. To say that he is a good president simply because he hasn't bombed the s**t out of some tiny country, shows desperation.
