74 year old Brit to be publicly flogged in Saudi

You're simply trying to have dig at Cameron when our relationship with them pre-dates him by 90 odd years.

And you're about as funny as getting leprosy would be.


In another thread about an hour ago, I said I give Corbyn two years, I suppose that was a 'dig' at him too. I made a joke at Cameron's expense because he chose to call them 'our friends', about the same day as the Saudis dropped more bombs killing civilians in Yemen and how the government treat their own people - women especially. Keep the insults coming, you've clearly had a bad day and I won't be rising to it.

No, as A) it's not a dig, it's a guess and B) I doubt you followed it up with some nonsense about his alleged past.

You also didn't make a joke, you might have thought you did but that story's been around a while now and any jokes about it have been long done, some with actual comedic value.

What the Saudi's do in Yemen has f*** all to do with us, as does their own laws. Or maybe you'd like them to tell us what we can do in our country?

You rose to it when you edited your first post. In a failed attempt to be funny.

On that account, I take it you're against every single intervention of ours in the middle east then? If so I'm pleased to hear it and it somewhat makes up for the fact that you've completely and unnecessarily lost your rag over a silly, meaningless joke. I joked about Ed and his bacon sandwich too. How terrible of me not to take politicians seriously.

Yep, of late. Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria... sod all to do with us and achieved next to f*** all.

Just because I called you a pillock, don't assume I've lost my rag. I just thought it a suitable moniker to use after your post.

Jokes are funny. Just saying "todger" in a statement isn't.


At the end of the day you've got yourself in a tizzy over a nothing joke. There's little point in taking the knicker wetter attitude of dragging your view of a joke out over whole pages. I'll leave it at that.
