I am generally ok , I enjoy all the shops lit up for Christmas and the business of staying at home with some warming food and candles and the heating on. But the older I get I find it hard to deal with the darker nights and the lack of daylight. It feels like a heavy feeling of sadness. Someone tell me I am not the only one! Edited by Michaelawt85 (08 Nov 2016 5.08pm) I have been feeling it most of 2016. Would rather like to hit ALT CTRL DEL to restart the whole year

Mrs Gristle is very much a hater of Winter. I find that getting out for a walk somewhere green, when the sun's out for three quarters of an hour or so, helps a bit. Got to avoid spending the weekends cooped up indoors, especially if you travel to and from work all week in the dark and have kids!
Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune) |

FFS.... you miserable cnuts.... cheer up! If anyone has reason to be depressed on here it's me with all my mobility problems but I don't wallow in self pity. This morning I thought I'd sort out my chest freezer, which was all iced up. I took a hammer to it and smashed the ice to bits.... very therapeutic it was. I feel buzzed up now. If you allow yourself to be depressed you will be.

Sun out today, go for a nice stiff walk, say no to depression !!! X
