Ledley has played 14 times this season, tell me why that shouldn't be Jedinak getting the game time instead?

Opta ratings Casual old boy. Can't beat that system. May have only been for a month or a period of time but it happened. So the bloke stating he was crap is a big liar liar pants on fire. The same ratings that a lot of people use to justify Cabaye , the problem with them is that they do not actually show what the player really brings to the team.

I love Jedi, him and Wilf were my favourite players and as a moral boost for the fans he'd be great to see in a Palace shirt again but he is not the way forward sadly. We should never have sold him, his replacement should be an upgrade on him which Ledley is not.
The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years |

Mutch is here earning a crust. How the hell anyone can brush over that and kick up a stink about Jedi coming back is ridiculous.

It's been a case of "be careful what you wish for" as far as the board and former manager felt at the start of this season. Back to the heart of CPFC, guts, fight, togetherness, as one with the fans. Been lost this past 2 years. Time to regain this is now.

I'd have him back, seems to be highly rated at Villa as well.

Out of the 6 players we currently have at the club that have played central midfield... McArthur ...I wouldnt choose a single one of them in front of Jedinak if it was to play holding midfielder. I would only choose McArthur and Cabaye ahead of Jedinak in a slightly more forward central position. Jedinak is not just more combative...he would immediately start to help the teams set piece defending. He would bring with him a confidence and he would be able to lift the whole team. He would give Dann a kick up the ass that he has needed for a while because his form has been a let down since becoming captain.

In a league game for Palace. Being on the pitch at the end of a winning game is a meaningless statistic. Chungy would probably have some of the best stats in that regard due to being brought on after 88 mins quite frequently towards the beginning of this season. How many games have we lost where Cabaye has been substituted off? A game Cabaye influenced - well he scored against Watford. Had Benteke not missed that penalty we might well have got 3 points from that match. Don't get me wrong, I'm not chairman of Cabaye's fan club, but I do recognise that he is technically our best midfielder and a player we should be looking to get the best out of by altering our formation/personnel alongside him. Jedi was a warrior and a great captain and player for us, but he was past his best. What he had in drive and physical presence he lacks in mobility and ability to pass (even simple balls at times). There is a reason he is now playing in the Championship and not a different Premier League team. I was sad to see him leave but I think that was due to nostalgia rather than what he could bring to the team now.
