For it to go through now, Everton would need to cancel his contract.

Palace could then sign him as a Free agent.

As could anyone else and we'd need to leave a space in our 25 in the hope he does sign. If the CA is to be believed, the problem would appear to have been contractual so it'd probably be best to just let this one go.

I don't think so. He needs to have been a free agent before the window opened to be eligible to join outside of the window. Caceres for example qualifies. I don't think Kone would.

Yes you are right.

Martinez signed Kone for both Wigan and Everton, in fact he was Martinez's first signing for Everton.

Leave him at Everton I don't think he can bring anything different to what we already have Benteke as our main with Remy and Campbell backing them up followed by Mr ive got another injury wickham .

Bit harsh on Wickham, it's an ACL, not a minor strain.

SP s comments on talk sport yesterday appear to indicate this may still be an option...Everton could cancel his contract and we might pay them something but not a fee.

If Parish is saying that, he needs to check the rules. The player had to have been a free agent before the transfer window closed. Now can we just let this one go?
