Five innocent people lose their lives for no reason at all.
One of them a 3 year old girl.
Absolutely pointless.
Not much makes me tear up but this has.

He described himself as an ‘incel’. I didn’t describe it as anything.

Well if this version of ‘incel’ as he (not me) described it, is a hybrid of involuntary celibacy then obviously it’s steeped in misogyny and anger.

You connected those terms and you rather obviously believe them.

As for 'incels', the group itself is another discussion. One we could have but it wasn't my focus.

My interest was in showing your double standards between groups......this one being a group you feel fine in demonising yet you don't touch others with a barge pole when their death numbers aren't even seriously comparable.

Seems the killer had his gun licence suspended a short while ago, and was then returned after a review.

In my own limited experience, once someone has a gun licence, it is actually quite difficult to get the licence rescinded. No matter what the behaviour.

I encountered two idiots in Sussex woodland whilst dog waking on public footpaths in the last 2 years. Both of the men suggested that if I, or my dogs, strayed onto their adjoining land, then my dogs might get accidentally shot. One of the tw@ts actually fired a shot in the air.
Both were subsequently spoken to by police, and both kept their gun licences.

It seems there are a lot of cvnces out there who need a gun to make them a man

Just been reading some of the more in detail news report.
Sad fact. Some people are just losers. Add in a bit of sexual failure = all women are whores. Then give them a gun licence. Then give it back to them (FFS) Its all so sadly predictable.
When I saw the photo of the killer ... why was I not surprised. He could have had "I am a loser" tattooed on his forehead.
Giving him the gun back helped him, but looks like he was on a death wish anyway.

Inadequates seem to need a facilitating weapon when they finally snap. A gun licence is ridiculously difficult to rescind, so I wouldn't blame the police. They don't make the decision.
If it wasn't a gun, it would have been a car, or a bomb, or something else.
Internet allows these inadequates to group themselves as something that doesn't really exist.
You could argue that the HOL is an internet club for inadequates who lack any social skills in the real world. Therefore, if i get in my car and run a load of people over, I can ascribe myself to the Palace Mad Drivers Association.
It makes things tidier to be able to put it in a box with a label on it.
Yes, there are organised gangs of morons out there with weapons, but there are also plenty of isolated dysfunctional idiots just waiting for the opportunity to flare-up. And some of these idiots have cars.

Incels have been on the march in increasing numbers ever since the 1960's.

And our politicians have had little interest in the topic.

The viking age ( 700 to 900 AD ?)....... largely driven by Incels.

Do not be surprised if the Taliban dumps a few million more Incels onto Europe. And the likely outcome ? more trouble & strife.

I worked on several barn conversions, on the same plot of land.
Besides the 3 conversions the builder kept the ongoing farm land / small holdings to work & as such had a rifle.
The f***er shot a dog that came onto 'his' land & bothered sheep (although his own dogs were enough to get rid of the offending trespassing dog)
Basically he'd been waiting for an excuse to kill something as soon as hed got his gun.
didnt work for him on his next project & a few other trades declined.

 

Kids,tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.
