It’ll probably take £18 million to get Edouard. Celtic paid 8 for him and PSG are due 40% of any profit. They will want to make a decent profit. Unfortunately they haven’t improved the lad really so they may be a little unrealistic.

The player is equally unrealistic with his wage demands. He needs to realise it takes more than a decent season and a half to make you a top class striker.

He isn’t the quickest player and is a work in progress for sure. That coupled with question marks over his application of late means he is a risky buy at that price.

It may come down to how much Patrick shouts tomorrow and whether Aigoun feels he can bring the best out of him.

If the Nketia deal has fallen through then I guess that might influence things.
