With the utmost respect, labelling fellow HOL members expressing their opinions about the tenureship of Vieira as "Idiots" is in my humble estimation unnecessary and somewhat beyond the pale.

No Willo we are all entitled to our own opinion and his is that those calling for Vieira's head are idiots. Frankly I agree with him.

Pundits are putting Brighton as the crunch game. I feel the same. It's not the losing - I'll take a loss with a blood and guts performance. A tame roll over in the match is going to be too much for everyone, in my opinion. There has to be an intent, or at least some kind of plan, to score and perhaps win.

It’s all I’ve ever asked of our players as we all appreciate that overall our skills are at least 10% down on most teams. Unfortunately that desire and effort that has epitomised previous campaigns is somewhat lacking this season. We play like we deserve to be in this league and unfortunately it doesn’t work like that.

For me there'll be a huge difference between really giving it a go, looking as if there's a tactical plan and a genuine show of performance & commitment but losing, either through bad luck or just BHA's quality, and looking still abject, unable to score, and toothless yet scraping a 0-0 draw.

If the first, or heavens forbid even a win, I'd be content for the club to wait.

If a poor performance yields a draw I'll see it as nothing more than a delay.

If just beaten or beaten badly as I fear, then I think it may well be curtains. If not I'll be somewhat bemused.

For me what will be telling is the performance more so than the result. May provide an insight into where PV + players are at. Whether he actually has solutions and whether the team are 'playing for him' or not.

Genuinely unsure as I have no insight to offer whatsoever.

It’s not about who replaces him, it’s about him and his team selection, tactics, and ability to see in game requirements. His are very limited. Players at his disposal are better than the sum of present results.
