Did not see interview, but can understand his stance. There was a need to support Michael, and keep his confidence where it should be.

Almost second that, would replace Eze with Hughes to give our midfield more bite. Except for his torrid time against Grealish, I think Clyne might deserve more game time. But Richards was brilliant standing in for Andersen, so yes, give the American more starts.
Where all the blame lies for our 2023 games does not really matter. It is what Vieira will do in the coming weeks and months, but I fear we will still see Ayew and Schlupp in the starting line-ups.
