There is no family, be helpful today to someone you don't know; or if you would like to put your money somewhere any doggie charity would have pleased the man. Quote simonmdt at 21 Apr 2015 10.40am

Arthur Wait got a stand named in his honour. I propose HOL gets the staffie Chatroom , or the staffie MP3 thread or something else close to the influence of the great man.

After hearing of this news yesterday I spoke to friends about how surreal it was that the death of someone I'd never met but known for several years could leave me as sad as I was yesterday. So many times we exchanged DMs, mostly him ticking me off for requesting too much on the MP3 thread! However there were many back and forth's testing his reluctance to accept any form gratitude other than a simple "thanks staffie" for all his help. Many years ago this online community was much smaller and regardless of the fortunes of our beloved club there were few who were as positive, helpful and caring as staffie, the fact that he maintained those qualities to the same level as the site has grown and requests for his assistance grew larger is testament to this incredible man we never met. Rest in peace staffie xxx
It's also a tribute to the kind of man he was, with the amount of people who have used the word 'selfless'.
