The UK's debt to GDP is at 89.30 percent when last checkied I think.

So basically your crowing is ridiculous.

The EU is about to lose one of its few strong and net economies.....one that is actually reducing its deficit.

Meanwhile the EU is only going one way.....Still, it has fantasists like you to BS about it doesn't it.

The point is that the debt/GDP ratios are very similar but the big difference is that the other large economies of the world want to make deals with the EU - not the UK. A single market of 500 million consumers (nearly double that of the US) is always going to trounce one of 62 million any day of the week when it comes to priority is negotiating and closing international business. This is what many people in other EU countries can't understand, that the UK is prepared to cut off its nose to spite its face simply to show everyone it can 'go it alone'. Nice for British pride but a true disater for the UK economy.

The days of blaming the EU for everything are over.

You are leaving UK take all your problems with you and we will do ok although how will we cope without you (hahahahahahahahaha)....

Silly Stirling when the UK pulls the plug and disappears down the hole you will be blaming the undemocratic EU as usual.

With the deficit at 1.7 trillion escalating to 2 trillions by 2020 we are in Stirling's words 'paying down the deficit'.

I am sure the Osborne school of Economics would approve, having borrowed more in 5 years than all the previous labour governments put together.

Silly silly

Pathetic response from Mr Chip-on-shoulder.

Did you leave the U.K. because you were a clueless moron, whom thought the world owed him a living just because he was ambitious? However Britain did not recognise your 'talents'.

Hence the anger and frustration?

You are just totally deluded.

You try to make a non point about debt, embarrass yourself to anyone other than remoaners, and now it's this.

We have already had very positive noises from other countries and other European countries outside the customs union do fine.

We will trade with the EU and we will trade outside the EU. People like you are seriously in fruitcake land.

The EU's debts are only going one way...We are on firmer ground....they just had to rescue two Italian banks....many others are near the brink of collapse and then you get absolutely deluded people like you boasting while the boat is having to be constantly bailed out.

Yep, that's called market cannabilisation. People who shop at new branches of an existing supermarket chain stop shopping at a competitors chain. Aldi don't care as long as they increase their market share to the detriment of other retailers.

No, it's called free market competition. Consumers get the choice of which supermarket they want to patronise - usually the one that provides the best balance of quality, price and service (my choice is Sainsburys). Compare this with the empty shelves on the state run supermarkets of the old Eastern Block.

Why the comparison? Are we getting a state run supermarket?

Why? Just to remind people of how bad state run supermarkets were. Are we getting one? Better ask Comrade Jeremy.
