Todays first download is a set by the original members of Caravan that was recorded in 1990 at the Central TV Studios, Birmingham. The quality of this bootleg is superb and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. Boots by Caravan in good quality are very, VERY rare - I only have 2 myself and now this one makes 3. Only a very short set, but for fans of Caravan it was significant as it was the first time in over 10 years that the band had performed in any form. If you like Caravan - who were one of the original "Canterbury Scene" progressive bands of the 1960's & 70's - you will definitely want this one - this is thoroughly recommended... and then some!... Here is a download link I found for :- Original Members Concert, Central TV, Birmingham, UK 1990 - Caravan (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01. Head Loss Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 118MB (Including Artwork, Tracklisting and Playlist File) The Line-up : Enjoy!

Todays second download is a set by Dr John that was recorded at the SUNY in Binghamton, New York on the 10th October 1988. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast and sounds top notch. I recently posted a Dr John boot with Eric Clapton as well as a solo set. This is another top show for the collection with a top setlist which includes his classic "Right Place, Wrong Time'. There is a short radio interview at the very end of the show - this can easily be deleted if not wanted. If you like Dr John - this is thoroughly recommended... I sometimes think that bootlegs are like buses - you wait for ages for one to show up - then two or more come along at once!!. This has happened with todays first bootleg - as we have another set by Caravan, following on from the one I posted yesterday. This is a set performed on the bands first American tour in 1974 at the Record Plant, Sausalito, CA on the 10th November 1974 and it's in superb quality with the audio being taken from the soundboard. I've also posted other dates from this tour - but not this set. If you like Caravan and grabbed the set yesterday - I thoroughly recommend this one... Here is a download link I found for :- Live at the Record Plant, Sausalito, California, USA. 10.11.74 - Caravan (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01. Announcement by dj Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 150MB (Including Artwork and Tracklisting) Total time 1:05:40 The Line-up : Enjoy!
