I'll assume (Sky poll) that's why 74% now prefer we walk away with no deal, rather than the s*** the EU is serving?

EXACTLY the country is behind a "No deal" if that is the way the EU wants to play. They will suffer if we do and other countries will follow us. France and Germany need to think hard about what they are doing at the moment in the talks.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

But...but all you clap happy BeLeavers told everyone that was concerned about the potential fallout that there was zero chance of the EU not giving us what we want because, according to you, they need us more than we need them so a no deal scenario was impossible.

Germany, France and the rest would be trembling at the thought of us going you said. They would be crawling on hands and knees to do deals you said.

Ah, well.

Since we will be paying to exit that creates it's own leverage - we are a net contributor, so Germany and France will be paying more once we've left the building.

How does that work if there is 'No Deal'?

Back to resorting to spin? That's not a good sign at all.

Are you at least able to see now that perhaps we haven't got, never did have, the right people in power to oversee a Brexit that would be the least damaging to the U.K short to medium-term?

So we won't be paying to exit if 'no deal'?

That's a whole other sh1tstorm in the making.

'paying to exit'?

Why, how could that possibly be beneficial.

Stay in the EU.

This from someone who wants to elect a government who would damage the UK in the short, medium and long term, to an extent that dwarfs any damage that Brexit might allegedly cause.

er...economically, environmentally, security wise, for the UK farming, health, catering and care sectors as well as a plethora of others. The list can go on...and on.

And how would it have been made possible for such a 'nefarious' looking government, should it be elected, to have been voted in at all?

Because that is what the country voted for and they won as they did with the referendum vote. You can spout all you like about your side of the fence but you are stuck with the Tory party in government and who are dealing with Brexit so you just have to live with it!

Labour flags up Brexit poll suggesting public regrets decision.

YouGov survey finds 42% of respondents think it is right to leave the EU and 47% think it is wrong.

IMO this is how it is looking with more and more people seeing the damage brexit will do.

Its really self-harm there are no benefits at all in leaving the EU.

There will be a 'deal'. That's why the UK government has already agreed to pay €20 billion. There will also be a 2 year (at least) transitionary period. During that period further installements of what is owed to the EU will be paid. During the transitionary period, expect many more u-turns to be made to what was promised in the aftermath of the referendum last year. The honeymoon period for those who voted to leave is well and truly over.

I'm reading an article where Angela Merkel makes it clear that there are no concrete offers, so not sure where 20 billion comes from.
