I believe you are just being intransigent knowing really how that attitude at the beginning of the highlighted sentence will make the situation worse for your honourable considerations at the end. It will result in the exact opposite of what you want for your family. It could seem to some readers that you are putting your ideology ahead of what you say is the most important thing if you were to support such a measure.

You have been around long enough to understand that if innocents are persecuted because of guilt by imagined association then it only inflames situations and more violence ensues.

Man City have a player called Jesus, BBC 5 live made a joke about Jesus coming back (from injury) at Easter... during the overnight show they were discussing religion (they have a priest and a Muslim studio guests) a caller mentioned the joke, and asked if the player was called Allah, would they have made a joke about his name... the presenter said, no... all presenters know not to mock Allah... when pushed why, he admitted it was for fear of reprisal, and not a BBC broadcast rule.

No one and I mean no one, blames all Muslims for terrorism unless that have no understanding whatsoever.
I have spent many weeks in Muslim countries having a great holiday and the people were friendly and helpful.(They were getting paid to be but still). That doesn't mean Muslims are not a problem in this country.

Israel is mostly Jewish and was formed entirely because of Jewish faith. Since Jewish settlement, Israel has systematically moved Palestinians off their own land. Have I got sympathy with Palestinians? Yes. Do I support the PLO or Hamas. No. Do I think Israeli Jews can reasonably defend their governments policy and claim Anti Semitism by critics? Absolutely not.

You attribute negative characteristics to a whole complete group of people,just because of their religion or ethnicity....if you were doping this to a group based on them being of a different race,you would unquestionably be a ...racist...

Israeli jews...muslims...Brits...eskimos, the whole range of human behaviour is contained within each and every group..including those who are reactionary and intolerant of anyone not like them

Demonising whole groups for the sins of a dodgy minority who happen to be of a given religion or ethnicity gets (and never has got) nobody anywhere...least of all in "defeating" the minority in question.
