They are reportedly shopping him so this is questionable. Also, they have Bamford. I expect Chelsea are canny enough to realise that given their rather unique present position, they have a free pass to rebuild their squad right now without the usual pressure to deliver immediate success over the next two windows. I'd therefore expect them to bring strikers in and to ship out those who they don't want long term with less worry about the short-term impact. Remy doesn't seem like he's really part of their plans so might happen.

on our football radio here we had gary taphouse on talking about the game. hosted by neil barnett and crooks was the 2nd guy. they were talking through this exact scneario. barnett's take was that: chelsea haven't played him enough but many times that costa wasn't available, remy wasn't fit. said he's been injured most of the 18 months they've had him. so would they get rid of him with CL games and cup games? only if they sign someone better.
