this would be such a Palace thing to do. Get everyone all depressed about not signing a striker, missing all our first choice targets (whatever they are) or thinking we're gonna sign Adebayor, then WHAM we go and get Remy in and we're all jumping around happy as Larry. The ups and downs eh, or downs and ups!

Newcastle Chronicle also reporting on Remy. Why would you go all the way up there to play for that outfit when you could sign for us, not have to move and be just a few hours from your motherland.

remy has been injured quite a bit since he got to chelsea. think he's played a bit recently but has got something quite a bit. risk in any signing i suppose but would expect a pretty thorough review of his medical record.

I would imagine we're on alert after the Pato to Chelsea story gathered momentum. If Pato comes in, I wouldn't be suprised if Cheslea listen to offers, and I'd imagine we'd be at the front of the queue. He doesn't have to move, he knows the manager etc.
