Friend who is a WH season ticket holder said Jenkinson's first season he was amazing, second season he was hit with injuries and lost his confidence. 100% a confidence player, great competition for Ward.

Great attacking full-back. Pinned our wingers back a season or two ago in one of our losses to West Ham.

He's a passionate player. That's possibly the only positive thing I can say about him. Why anyone would want him is beyond me. I don't trash many of our players, but this guy is Championship level, in fact, I've seen better fullbacks playing for Championship teams.

Got pace, good coming forward and has a long throw in his 'Locker'. He and his famly are lifelong Arsenal supporters and his Dad has been a season-ticket holder at the club for many,many years.

I think, probably 5 or more years ago I was talking to Charlton supporters who were raving about Jenkinson just before he was sold to Arsenal.They were also fulsome of praise for another of their young full-backs, Chris Solly, who is still at the club.
