We need more into him. What he does, with the service he gets, has been pretty impressive, but really its down to Puncheon, Townsend and Zaha to feed into him.

He's a lone striker, in a team where the only injury free option is Campbell. I suspect he's been ordered not to chase down every defender and 'lost cause'. Last thing we need is him being injured and we need him to be fit for 95 minutes or so per game.

I enjoyed the 60 minutes or so that Remy and Benteke had together against Everton.

I really do think that if he can ever be match fit that Loic could be the final piece of the puzzle.

Scores goals when put on a plate for him. Otherwise, no movement, no pace and is not a team player.
Sell him in the summer and buy a couple of strikers who have these attributes.
He makes Wickham look a decent alternative.

Not a single quote, or reference to anything other than an argument on the pitch on Saturday, and some vague speculation in January.

Concrete proof that.

Bulls*** article. no quotes. Listen to an interview he did a few weeks ago, he comes across well and focused. It's good that he's getting angry, shows he cares at least.

I like him but hes not a Sam type player. Sam bought Carroll for not only his aerial ability which Benteke also has but for his physicality as well which Benteke certainly doesn't have. Sam will move him on in the summer

When we play with two attacking full backs and two attacking wingers, effectively 4 wingers, it is little surprise that Benteke is isolated in the middle. It has been said on here a number of times already, but we desperately need a proper number 10, not a new number 9.

If we stay up: 4 signings need - begovic, trippier , siggurrson and Sakho (would love this 4)

For all his failings the biggest problem AP created for himself was the squad developed an, "Oh well, better luck next time, it will all be alright", attitude. After such a run Sam seems to have found it far more deep rooted and difficult to cure than he expected.
There was no self analysis, no questioning and no self policing, especially on the pitch. There was no one taking responsibility. This half arsed, airy fairy attitude has destroyed what should of been our best ever season in the prem and cost the team it's togetherness.
Personally that argument on Saturday was the first sign in more than a year that the team actually started acting like a team. You chew each other out, stand your ground and then its all forgotten. If the forgotten bit has happened then I think everything will be fine. As for whether he's happy right now, I'd bleedin hope he isn't because the team is struggling.
I have to believe that if Jedi was still in the squad, this wouldn't of happened, but you never know.
