I agreee. People saying we are playing the wrong system by lumping it up to him, well thats why we paid all that money isnt it. Hes supposed to do something with the ball and craft a goal instead of waiting for a tap in or the ball to land on his head.

All strikers go through a period of not scoring, nothing unusual about that. Look at Vardy on fire last year, quiet this season, but can still produce against Liverpool. Beneteke is a top quality striker and will come good again, he is putting the work in, but being a lone striker your not going to chase all the defenders all the game, its impossible.
Your anti Beneteke stance is puerile, as if you have nothing else to complain about.

Well if we still had Pardew he'd more than likely have more, but we've got more negative and he's become totally isolated at times.
From memory, he's won a penalty, been denied a clear cut one and hit the woodwork twice and for good measure he's been massive defending set pieces.
I prefer to support our players rather than constantly look for the next one to scapegoat.

One fact you ignore, is he is our top scorer, an undisputable fact.
People critize Ward as he has been poor all season, Puncheon hasn't scored for 28 games. Hennessy gets stick as an easy target behind a poor defence, which I feel is unjustified.

Err, no, it's not. He was meant to be in the box getting a great service from both flanks.

Give him a better service & more support & he'll score goals & bring team mates into the game. I've lost count of the headers he's won for there to be nobody running beyond or balls played into him & there being no option for him to offload it to.

We paid £30mn for a very good finisher, especially with his head, and if we want to get the best out of him we need to play to his strength and start getting more decent crosses in the box. His main job is to score and he will do so more times than the average premiership striker given the chances.

That being said, he does sometimes look like he can't be arsed jumping and it's frustrating to watch and also not great for the highest paid player in the team.
