i wasnt for the de boer appointment in the first place, as i knew this would happen (not this early into the regime, i'll admit). we just dont have the personnel to play a more expansive possession game. tried by holloway, and mildew, and failed miserably. parish said on twitter we cant keep spending money. i agree totally. dont live beyond your means. but i asked him why he appointed a manager, that would then need a squad overhaul to achieve this style of play? so we now have to pay god knows how much to de boer. money that couldve been used elsewhere (another striker). so he spent six weeks appointing a manager to sack him after four games, and according to stories, lining up hodgson. he couldve just done that from the onset. im not suggesting SP should do one. he's a very good businessman, and the club has probably never been in a better financial position. but when it comes to football matters, he's s***. we had two good managers in pulis, and BS. and this is just my opinion, but i think he pissed both of em off. ive said for a few years, we need a director of football who knows the game. and someone he'll listen to. if he insists on sticking his nose into the football side, maybe he should then sell up. cos we're going backwards, at this rate
a rich man is only a poor man with an obscene amount of money |

This is down to the Americans. Same as the Allerdyce appointment, who could not get away quick enough. It appears to me that the Americans make the decisions and Parish takes the stick. Wouldn't mind betting that Parish is looking to sell out completely.

In light of the improved display yesterday followed by Parishes "we need to stick together" twitter rant, I am guessing this has either come from the Americans or there was serious malcontent in the dressing room. Either way it's all very Palace. I guess Dougie is our plan B.

A total and utter shambles. The decision was, obviously, made before yesterday. We bossed a team who have beaten Chelsea and drawn at the spuds and somehow managed not to take one of the chances we had.Jesus H Christ my mum's 83 and she could've scored the one Scott Dann missed. 4 games. 4 f***ing games and showing a big improvement and that's without Zaha and RLC and before Sakho has played a game as well. Sorry Mr Parish I try to back you but this decision is a bad joke and I'm only hoping FDB wanted to go but know that's very unlikely. You've made yourself look a fool and Palace a f***ing laughing stock. Oh well, at least we've got some good winnable games coming up. FFS.

Dammit, my trainline tickets from Hastings are apparently not refundable. Oh well, I suppose I'll have to get behind Woy.

Parish's personal invesment and how he's transformed every aspect of the club? No we haven't forgotten because people like you keep BLOODY REMINDING US! Do give me a list of "every aspect" that's been transformed; I'll take financial probity and cladding as a given.

West Brom Away The only game I would argue was winnable was Watford at home where they lost 0-2, but then again Watford have been good value thus far. Compare that to us losing to the European Footballing Giants of Swansea, Huddersfield, and Burnley and you should understand why he's been fired.

Strange decision, why appoint him in the first place if your not going to fully back him. But to say he's a s*** chairman is ridiculous, he's transformed the club from a s*** club in south London to an established premier league side. To say he's a lucky chairmen is moronic, I guess he was lucky with the appointment of Dougie Freedman, then the appointment of Ian Holloway who got us promoted, then got lucky for 5 years keeping us in the league.

Can't help but think ever since the Americans have been involved things have gone badly wrong. And where is the £50M each they were going to put into the club. I think they have far more influence than we realised, should have never go them involved with our club.
