I doubt Steven Browett, Martyn Long and Jeremy Hosking would have given up sufficient shares to surrender complete control to Harris and Blitzer but enough to encourage investment and give them a say in the main decision making process yes.

As far as I remember from the details of the 'investment' that were announced the Americans own over 50% of the shares of the club. From memory I believe it was reported that they bought 51% of the shares.
