Yes but there were mitigating circumstances such as : players just warming up to match fitness after a break; players not wanting to pick up an injury pre-season: no crowd; very hot weather; nothing really at stake except for fringe players/youngsters wanting to impress.

Agreed. Plus constant team changes. Also, was it an artificial pitch? As we always say "a win is a win at the end of the day (and indeed at any other time)"
