The ship isn't sinking Sakho would give the team a remendous lift and sort out the defence. Immense player. Bring back Brolin

I like him but 30 million? On a centre half? I think people are too slot A into slot B about this.

We have good enough defenders already and have already brought in two. We need to score goals.

We need a winger and a striker and a revision to a tactical system that the players feel comfortable with.

Although I can see the benefit blowing our entire budget on just one player would be utter folly. We need a gk and centre forward min....which we won't get if we sign sakho. If we sign sakho as good as he is we will go down.

We need Sakho plus a striker or two, or Benteke to try moving a bit. A team that hasn't scored in 7 out of 8 games doesn't just need a centre back.

We have been in the Premiership for five years now. Dann and Tomkins and Kelly plus Ward have been a large part of that.

Our problem has been the managers rather than the players.

However, I also agree with everything else you say, so lets hope we get in all the reinforcements we need. We actually played 3-5-2 yesterday, so hopefully FdB is learning flexibility. In the second half, the team played much better, so I dont think FdB has lost the dressing room yet. If we were to sack FdB presumably Freedman would come in as caretaker? And I am not sure that yet change of manager would do us any good.
