Regardless of what AP tells the press, I think a top class goalkeeper who can collect crosses and command his area is high on his agenda once he has the other core players signed up.

What about Szczesny? Arsenal will probably be listening to offers, so it might be worth at least enquiring. He would probably be second choice at most major Champions League clubs and if he's looking to be Polish number 1 he should really be number 1 for his club.

Wages will be high and there will probably be a lot of interest from some of the smaller champions league clubs but I think for a top goalie it can be worth going all out for.

If/when we end up getting another keeper (though I doubt it will be this season), I'd love us to sign either Loris Karius at Mainz or Mat Ryan from Club Brugge.

Both really promising up and coming keepers, already got decent experience but still very realistic signings. Karius was in the Manchester City academy for a few years so already a little acclimatised to England, and Ryan has a British passport apparently so would probably like a Premier League move.

I really wanted WBA to go down as I thought Ben Foster would have been a great signing for us, I think he is very underrated.

If De Gea stays at Manure for another season, would Valdes really be happy to be a number 2 for another season? He would never sign for us but I wonder if we could take him on a loan for a season.

Been linked with Alex McCArthy. Was a great keeper despite being relegated with Reading, joined QPR and played 2nd fiddle behind Green. Might suggest that Speroni could be on the move, especially when the story came out saying he might be moving on as he is not finished yet. Wouldn't surprise me if Jules goes back to Dundee for a swansong season with them and we have Hennessey and a new keeper for next year. Be a shame but I wouldn't be surprised.
