Who cares if we are a 'laughing stock' if we sack de Boer after three games? I don't actually think we would be, not that it is important. Results are what counts.

The fact is that after three games we have no points, have not scored a goal, do not look like a team that is improving and have gone backwards from last season. It is plain that it is not going to work.

Getting rid of him now gives us a chance of survival. I would support that and wish de Boer all the best going forward in his career.

Yes, you're not worried about that at all are you. CPFC the gift that keeps on giving.

The only thing I know is they are capable of is embarrassing us fans. Its the crap players we have that's the issue. Im not absolving FDB of blame but ijesus you must see we have total dross in our side.

Ignorant you say? lol go to bed mate

Laughing stock if we sack him alo t of people are saying. We'd be a bigger laughing stock in the championship if we don't.

I doubt if he wont be given time to sort things out. Nobody would want to come here, if they were any good, only to be given 3 games to build a successful team.
A lot of supporters want instant success, it doesn't happen. Howe at Bournemouth has same record this season, nobody is questioning him, last year he was touted as future England boss, things in football change very quickly.
The intense media focus doesn't help managers, only Sky and BT sell packages.

The guardian article is a good one.

Seems like the board feel they were mislead by FDB as to what his plans are. As he's decided to blame the players and not the system and he's still unwilling to change.

If you've made a mistake the best course of action is to come clean, admit it, and sort it out quickly.

If FDB can't see his faults. It's only a matter of time until he goes.

Yes but he built up 'Credit at the bank' for his time at Bournemouth, particularly in the PL, and is continuing with the same style and ethos whereas FDB is new to the PL and adopting a different style to what we have become used to.

Judging by some fans attitude, it wouldn't surprise me if FDB walks before any move to sack him. Best fans in the league? We really are not showing it at the moment. The sense of entitlement is bewildering.

He needs time, financial backing and deserves to be given both.

Our performance in the transfer window thus far has been disappointing. If the plan was to spend the entire time bargaining a fee and spending our (undisclosed) budget on Sakho only then Parish should have said this from the start. This would have gone some way to managing some peoples wholly unrealistic expectations.

Indeed. Absolutely zero evidence so far of a results over style approach and if this was the basis upon which he was appointed then he's gone back on his word.

Too true Willo. Bournmouth should stick with Howe because hes a good manager playing the way the club supports. FdB has come in trying (with Parish's) support, to change the culture of the club, But its just not working.

Clubs don't reveal precise budget details so there is rampant speculation with figures 'plucked out of the air'.Sometimes these prove somewhat accurate, sometimes well wide of the mark.

Thus far we have only spent @ £8 Mill on a permanent transfer and have brought in 2 inexperienced loanees (Don't know details of any loan fees) and FDB has only been in charge for 3 games.Maybe this is irrelevant and there are other negative issues behind the scenes relating to the manager.

There's been a lot of posts about fans not backing him. Blind unwavering supporters is a bit like being a parent who never tells of their children. In the long run, it will be bad for the club. Personally, I think Freedman and Pardew get more more stick than they deserve. FDB has so far given me no reason for any optimism. Given that, would you trust him with your money?

The only transfer that Parish seems to have got involved with in the past was the Zaha one. He was a known quantity and the club it's been proved a good decision... Just like Sahko.

I think managing a club from League 2 to the Premierleague in 5 years and playing over 250 games for the club holds more weight than blagging our way to an FA Cup Final with a moron who had won 1 game in the 5/6 months prior to that final.
