Resorting back to the way of Allerdyce and Pullis might keep you in the premier league but it doesn't take you any further.
All the Sh. .T spouted on Sky and Talk Sport of the premier league being the best in the world is fantasy. It is good promotion to make shed loads of money. Hence the dismal performances in the champions league and world cup etc.
Parish has said often enough that he wants us to move on to the next level. Dyche and Allerdyce won't achieve that.
Let the manager get on with the job he was asked to do. Get behind the team and the management and it will come good.

Bang on but it's all too little too late. Writing was on the wall for Frank pretty much the moment Riedewald played his first back pass to Hennessey against Huddersfield. Fans were having none of it.

Would think that Parish has asked Sammy Lee his thoughts, much like Leicester did with Shakespear and Ranieri.

I reckon one of FDB or Lee will be gone by the end of the week.

you can't ask a bunch of english defenders playing a certain way for 25 years to suddenly play another way.

if you're an hospital architect, your boss can't ask you to design a skyscraper and it go just swimmingly.

milo looked so good last year and he's completely lost. isn't the manager on the hook to get the best out of his players? to motivate them properly and put in the best position to succeed?

that game saturday was 100% on management. you can't have nearly every player looking completely lost and say it's on the them. they were not set up for any success.

It wasn't the first one. More like the twelfth one and isn't really that and you full well know it. It's playing anything from 2 to half the team out of position, to play 3 at the back, when he could play 4 at the back and a very strong and competitive team capable of winning.

It's also the 'results over style' and 'gradual changes' and other statements he made just after getting the job and possibly to get the job he has gone back on.

As soon as he said we suited 3-4-3 when we clearly don't is more likely where the writing was on the wall.

He said "Evolution not revolution" and then turned up with rifles, banners and furry hats to storm the imperial palace. Then blamed the players when it all went t**s up. Doesn't inspire trust.

Sacked in the morning with Dougie and Sammy Lee taking temp charge.
Sahko and an un named striker signed before deadline day.

Really? And you know that after 3 games do you? Footballing genius you are, despite the fact your solution is limited to "yeah do 4 at the back" and that's it.

Wonder why on earth we went to the effort of interviewing all these prospects when we had a Rudi Headman waiting to rescue us all this time.

And btw, where I was sitting (Arthur), I heard groans after the first back pass Riedewald made vs Huddersfield, and it was 0-0

I said it on another thread. This team has got it's best results under Pulis and Big Sam and look how we played.
I've got no problem with Parish saying he wants to bring open attacking football to the club, but we need to be at least at the West Brom level in league if we're going to do that, sort of accepting finishing 15thish for a few years just to build the structure.
FdB doesn't have that luxury and probably more telling, the players. I do think the players we signed are good ones, but 2 loanees? where's the progress there?
I want to see Hodgson in and then pick the right manager for the team we have. Dyche or Moyes. Not the most blockbuster, but we won't be in relegation fights each year.

Yep, this is my thought too. West From have consolidated their premier league status, but building a secure structure that the players can deliver and bringing in quality progressively. They look poised to go to the next level now. I feel we missed a step of consolidation and rather made a crystal palace style whimsical f**k up.

Why appoint a manager that half the fans hate. How can that be good for the club?

It might be good for you to see him in charge but not for our club.
