It could be the last chance we have to get a half decent price because of his age. IMO he has had a better spell since we've come back but I so want this to end quickly so we can concentrate on next season. Fed up already with the speculation in the press, other forums and anyone with an opinion poking their nose in. If we sell, grab the money, no swap deals especially not Pepe at the Arse. Personally I'd like to see him ply his trade abroad and wish him well.

I have heardthat Man United are watching Zaha closely and Ole agrees Wilf was treated badly last time he was at Old Trafford.
I think a deal will be done that suits all parties this window with the sell on agreement scrapped as well as one or two United fringe players coming the other way.
Might not happen as things change quickly in football but from what I've heard, right now, its Wilf's most likely destination.

It makes sense in as much as Solskjaer wanted Zaha when at Cardiff and the sell on clause to Utd would reduce the price.

I know he's had a poor season, but can you really see Parish letting Wilf go for 30m having been supposedly holding out for 80m only a year ago? 40/50m plus add-ons would possibly be accepted. Personally, albeit probably unrealistically, I would favour he went to Chelsea and we get Hudson-Odoi and Batshuayi, with neither player seemingly seen as first-team starters by Chelsea but both would be very good for us.

When Vardy wasn't scoring Leicester weren't winning, which must be a big worry for them given his age. They have probably far exceeded their expectations this season and if someone poaches Maddison they might start to look quite ordinary; would Wilf risk ending up at a club which is not really any bigger than Palace, but which has admittedly done well in recent years? Possibly if they get CL I suppose.

I still think he's pushing for Arsenal and it'll come down to whether they can raise the funds to buy him. Anything else I think would feel like a consolation prize in his eyes. Given their lack of creativity in midfield he could do well there as well.
