You actually beleive chinas deaths from C19! And there's no issue with Uighurs, Hong Kong, Tibet, Taiwan or anywhere really. Everything that the Glorious Emperor, oops I mean Glorious, Great and Wise Leader of the Chinese People's Democratic Communist Party, says or does is fully correct.

The West is assuming that, but China has only 6,000 deaths in a population of 1.4 billion. America has over 200,000 deaths and lax food regulation, particularly meat production. But I would say in any system they do anything for money, that is why we need a very stringent food regulation system. It would’ve been quite interesting to see how Britain dealt with a totalitarian lockdown like China. Even Spain couldn’t suppress Covid with their hard lockdown requiring online forms (permission) to leave the house for groceries.

Many dont want a cure as can be seen in any given town or city. Never mind though as at least we have our FREEDOM ( in the voice of mel in braveheart)

Chris Christie says he was in ICU for 7 days battling Covid-19, urges Americans to wear masks - [Link] "As a former public official, I believe we have not treated Americans as adults, who understand truth, sacrifice and responsibility," Christie said in a statement." I'm glad he managed to pulled through. Although no great age he does have asthma and politely put he doesn't exactly watch his weight, so must be relieved to be on the other side of this now.

Older people have more weaknesses. Therefore the mixing of age-groups is more problematic, as some younger people are asymptomatic. Teachers v pupils students v family drinkers v bar staff The end isn't going to be pretty

So blinking obvious from those national maps of the north vs south it’s students, latter part of virus lifespan and of course behaviour. Doubt we’ll ever know which half of England was made with more worse by the lockdown.

Teachers v pupils students v family drinkers v bar staff The end isn't going to be pretty Yes, situations like multi generation households, kids going back to school, the psychological impact of loneliness on adherence to measures, all make the idea of shielding for an extensive period of time easier in theory than reality. There should've been more resources poured into finding solutions in this area and getting it right for those who are most at risk and in need of keeping a low profile. Treatments have already improved, hence outcomes too, and an effective vaccine would really give those in need all of the tools they're ever likely to have to be able to get back to normal life. But even then we're just hoping that those most vulnerable, have the means, fortitude and good sense to make the right choices for a little longer. An elderly friend my mine, late 70s, has numerous long standing chest issues and on top of that is essentially an anti vaxxer (flu and any future covid vaccine). She's going on a 30 person organised bus trip next week (is that even legal?). We all make our choices and I hope she realises the magnitude of hers because in all likelihood there's a decent chance she won't be here this time next year.
