Todays second download is another set from this years Reading Festival and the set by Twin Atlantic. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. Twin Atlantic are an alternative rock band from Glasgow comprsed of Sam McTrusty (vocals, rhythm guitar), Barry McKenna (lead guitar, cello, backing vocals), Ross McNae (bass guitar, piano, backing vocals) and Craig Kneale (drums, percussion, backing vocals). They have released two albums to date - but I've not posted either of them and according to my files this is the first bootleg as well... If you don't know this band - try them... this is great stuff.... Todays extra download is a set from this years Reading Festival and the set by Disclosure. This is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted - mainly because its the first I've ever seen. This band consists of two brothers - Guy and Howard Lawrence from Reigate, Surrey and they released their first album "Settle" on the 3rd June this year - but they've been around for a while before that and have released a few singles. If you like Disclosure then grab this show.... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by the Mahavishnu Orchestra that was recorded in Quebec on the 24th January 1973. This is in superb quality for a bootleg thats 40+ years old with the audio being taken from the soundboard - it sounds top notch. I've not posted much Mahavishnu stuff over the years - their type of rock/jazz fusion isn't everyone's cup of tea.. but there's no doubting the quality of the musicians on this boot.. John McLoughlin on Guitar, Billy Cobham on Drums, Jan Hammer on Keys.. with Jerry Goodman on Violin and Rick Laird on Bass... this is a top set. If you like Mahavishnu Orchestra then this is one for the collection - and I may post another couple in the coming few weeks.... Todays extra download is a set by The Brew that was recorded in 1972. This band are the forerunners of the legendary prog rock band Camel. They formed in '72 consisting of Andy Latimer on guitars, Doug Ferguson on Bass, Andy Ward on Drums and Phillip Goodhand-Tait on vocals with keyboards player and vocalist Pete Bardens they began writing original material... this is a recording of those demos and if you like Camel you will want these..... some great guitar work by Andy Latimer on these tracks - this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is a set by the Alan Parsons Project that was recorded at B. B. Kings place in New York, USA on the 11th October 2004. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and sounds absolutely top notch. I've not posted many bootlegs by the Alan Parsons Project as good quality ones are very rare. This is a very, very, good one and one of the best I've heard. If you like ALP then grab this one - this is thoroughly recommended - and then some..... This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted a few albums and bootlegs over the years by Eels - this is another top show for the collection. If you like Eels - this is thoroughly recommended.... According to my files this is the first bootleg or album by this band that I've posted. Fidlar is an acronym for "Fukc It Dog, Lifes's A Risk" and they have released 1 album so far.
