Just like your dad was a bit homophobic, until he met that gay bloke at work and realised it was him who had the problem. Its odd that some people are effectively arguing in defence of ignorance. Sure I get it, if maybe Romanians burned your house down or you had some kind of tragic or traumatic experience in Romania.

I always thought the term Gypsy was a derivation of Egyptian but proper Romani ancestors came from India originally.

Yeah there have and to be fair in recent years they've been moved on very swiftly. Last time we had them I got a load of them shouting abuse at me for looking a bit gay when I went running in shorts.
