We owe Wilf nothing, he's been handsomely paid and routinely idolised for playing for us so the notion that we should take any less than our valuation of him is insane. That being said it's time he went. Heart clearly not in it anymore and we have so few attacking outlets in our side that teams can double up on him knowing that we won't exploit the gaps they have left open, which is why we were so good with Bolasie on the other side. If selling him meant that we could potentially recruit Eze and a couple of other young, hungry attacking players from the lower leagues then I say go for it. We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Leicester's 'Net Spend' over the last 6 seasons has not been that gargantuan.They have averaged a 'Net Spend' of around £25 Mill per season over the 6 seasons.
During that time they have sold players for significant sums, the likes of Maguire, Mahrez,Drinkwater.

To me it's almost as if wilf has reduced his transfer fee by his performances, perhaps that's being nasty but his transfer valuation is no where near what it was last year, depends if parish agrees or not.

I think the opposite. It's a smart move. Everybody and anybody knows Wilf would want to move to a bigger club so saying otherwise publicly now would just make us look foolish. By saying what he has said if the article is accurate is 'yes we all know he wants to leave but if we don't get the price we want he is staying with us whether he likes it or not.'
