Seems unlikely to ever change but of course, gets nearly complete forgiveness by the club and fans as he is such a good player. Teams have easily sussed him out- look at Southampton, Watford, Bournemouth - the games are like pantomimes. Will’s sending off at Southampton was essentially over a throw-in and that little rat did a job on him. He does get fouled an extraordinary amount of times (a lot are not given) but surely he must know that he does not help himself. He must be able to see that. If he goes to a big club, it will be a lot different. He will be surrounded by better players so will not have to do it all himself, he will get more decisions with the standard unconscious bias and of course, the club will not have to make so many concession to accommodate him. All of that said, I will be absolutely gutted to see him go. When he plays, you have a chance

Too many of us forget the fact that he is playing alongside players that are not at his level, also the amount of goals and assists we've not had due to the treatment he receives from opponents is never fully appreciated too, Watford allowed us the privilege of hearing and seeing how teams actually do decide how to deal with him. Sadly we have and we are holding him back, he should be playing for a top six club and winning things and that's why he throws his toys out of the pram and this is also holding us back through not adjusting our play accordingly which is clearly seen when he is missing, the addition of Eze whether through luck or not is far too late to really help our weak aging squad and Zaha's mental state, I wish someone like Eze had arrived four seasons ago.

I don't like him but Grealish is the most fouled player in the Prem - both last season and this, by quite a way.

Grealish has good attacking players around him doesn't he, you do understand we don't, so Grealish has better balls to him and better players to make the most of what he does on the pitch, not rocket science.

I don't get this nonsense about Wilf will necessarily be better with better players around him. Don't forget he played for Man United. If you do have a spread of world class players around you it then does not matter who gets the ball. With Palace especially in the last few years it is get the ball and give it to Wilf. Hence he is heavily involved in all out attacks. He will therefore get more opportunities to create chances and score goals.

His options Abroad ? No don't think so with new young family. Wants Champions League football , Cant realistically see him holding down a regular place in the top 4/6 .His age is also a factor ? Plus the asking price we would want .Tough one for him for sure .Personally I think he has left it 2 or 3 years late to make move for himself.

It's a fact that if you play with players around you who are capable of controlling the ball as well as you can then you're going to make less mistakes.
